Australian ranged 8 3-16 to.B 7-16 per lb. For leather there was good enquiry, best Australian heavy 16d to 18s. Basils very firm. First Sydneys 16d to 17.U1, New Zealands 19d to 21s. Babbits were firm and unchanged, Australian getting scarce. light 6 l-16d, second light and medium 6|d, heavy 6Sd. Sheep.—South American light ogd, heavy 5Jd, ewes 5 5-16 d, lambs, none offering. Beef.—Argentine chilled fores s£d, hinds 6-J-d, Uurquay chilled fores 5Jd, hinds sfd. Australian beef fores s§d. Other meats unchanged. Wheat.—Dull, being 3d lower. Wheat and flower afloat for the United Kingdom 2.220,000, Continent 1,500,000, Atlantic shipments 762,000, Pacific 450,000; total, Europe 1,230,000, Tndia 61.000.
