DIXMUDE IN RUINS.

A communique states that the enemy's efforts during the last few clays resulted in nothing but the taking of ruined Dixmude, whose isolated position rendered it difficult of defence. Yesterday was quiety except in the north-east and. south,of Ypres, where we- repulsed several attacks with heavy German losses.
