Penalties.—The winner of any flat race after the declaration of weigh'*--to carry 71b penalty, and for every additional race a further penalty of 71V | or, if he thinks fit, the handicap!; - may re-handicap the winner of any raco after the declaration of weightOwners shall be responsible for the accuracy of the weights to be carried by their horses. Definition of a Hack (Flat and Hurdle Races). —No horse shall start in any Hack Flat Race which has at any time prior to the time of entry, won a race of the value of £l5O to the «inner, or races to the aggregate value of £IOO to the winner, nor in any Hack Hurdle Race or Steeplechase which has at any time prior* to the time of entry, won a race of the value of £l5O to Lin: winner, or races of the aggregate v; Inc of £4OO fa the winner, (Rule Xl.—2).
