The death of the Duke of Buecleuoh is announced. William Henry Walter Montague-Douglas-Scott, sixth Duke ■■of Buccleuch, was born in 1831.; He sat in Parliament as member for Midlothian from 1853 to 1868, when he was a. cadet, not having come into the title. Ho was Lieutenant-Colonel of 4he Midlothian Yeomanry, and owned about 160,000 acres.
