THE PALMERSTON SHOW.

For the 'second day of the Show there was fine weather and a large attendance. The takings at the gatesf were £SO ahead of last year, and within £l3 of the record in 1912.

Border Leicesters ; Mrs J. D. Ormond (Hastings). Championship in ewe and ram Shropshire Down; ram, W. Rayner. Southdowns: Ram. J. Knight (Fielding), also cup by English Southdown Sheep Society; ewe, Fcrnie and Richmond. In the shorn class the same exhibitors were awarded the ten-guinea cup for ram over IS months.
