Farmers in Western Canada hare • I assisted the Government by seeding large areas of wheat, intending to place the largest area in Canada’s history for 1915, with the object of sup* plying Britain’s needs.

A determined attempt is being rhsdis ,to secure Germany’s trade throughout the Dominion.

All Austrian and German residents have been interned in concentration camps for the duration of the war, Canada’s second contingent of 150,000 men are in training, and are expected to leave ,in January. . < , '
