What are practically the final gallops took place to-day. Most of the work was done on the plough. Rencontre fell dead during a gallop. Warstep made a mile and a quarter in 2.15. Martins six furlongs in 1.17 4-5. First Flight and Quarantine did the circuit of his first mile in 1.46. Mal'sa ran six furlongs in 1.17 1-5. Kilrain got over the last mile of two circuits in 1,47 2-5 Slogan ran a mile dild a quarter in 2.17. Autumnus ran a mile in 1-43. Blue Lake went half a mile in 51. Indigo, Reputation and Multiply together ran 10 furlongs in 2.23. The last named worked lazily. Peg ran six .in 1.19 3-5, and Fair Rosamund five in 1.6. Hymettus defeated Ogier over six in 1.17 2-5. Kooya got a mile and a half in 2.45 4-5, and Beldame six furlongs in 1.18. Guiding Way defeated Birkful in a mile gallop in 1.46. Vocation defeated Daytime over six in 1.17 3-5. Baldoa defeated Campeador over a mile in 1.48. Sir Moseley and Bertrada did six furlongs in 1.16. At Eiccarton this morning Bleriot did three-quarter pacing, Silver Shield did sevpn furlongs in Imin 33 l-osec, Postillion, six furlongs in Imin 17 2-5 sec, Raupani went easily over five furlongs in Imin 5 2-ssec, La Reina., six furlongs in Imin 11 2-osec; Bonny Helen, the last six furlongs of two circuits in Imin 19sec j Belasco and Pariform, half a mile i*i 50sec; Crown Pearl beat Chudic over six furlongs in Imin 18sec; Flower of the West, seven furlongs in Imin 33sec; First Glance, six furlongs in Imin 16ssec, tiring at the finish. It is understood that Sinapis, Maniaroa and> Moutoa Girl’s acceptances were missed.
