MANAWATU METROPOLITAN SHOW.

Palmerston North is ready for its annual spring show invasion and provided the fixture is favored with fine weather a great event is anticipated. Entries have nllccl*up well notwithstanding the men being absent with the Expeditionary Forco. Their Excellencies Lord and Lady Liverpool have intimated to the committee that they will visit the show on Friday the last (and people's) day. As the representatives of our Royal Sovereigns and for their own sakes they will be assured of a cordial reception at Palmerston North. All preparations for the reception of exhibits are now practically complete, and there now only remains the oft-expressed wish that the weather may bo fine for the event.
