NEWTON KING’S HAYMARKET REPORT. For my Haymarket sale on Saturday last I had a full yarding of pigs, in fact, all ray pens were fully taxed. There was a large attendance of buyers, and a good inquiry resulted for all lines offering. Practically everything was sold under the hammer at the following prices;—Slips and woanera from 8s to £1 3s, small stores £1 5s to £1 13s, medium to good ditto £1 10s 6d to £1 16s, sows up to £5, calves 3s to 6s 6d, milk cans £1 Is, motor bicycles £•10, posts Is 3d, hens la lOd, roosters 1b lOd to 2s.
T, LAMASON’S WEEKLY REPORT.
Last Saturday wo held onr usual weekly sale with a very good attendance of buyers. Prices realised very satisfactory. There is a very good demand for good table birds, etc. Wo quote as follows:—Hens Is 9d to 3s 6d, roosters 2s to 3s, ducks 2s to 2s 6d; cauliflower per doz, 2s 6d to 4s, rhubarb 4d to 6d per bundle, potatoes 6t 6d to 8s 6d per sack, pig inetd f Hs, and pollard 16s 6d per sock,
