London, October 28. Obituary: Prince Maurice of liar tenburg, from wounds.
Prince Maurice Victor Donald of Battenburg was born on October 3rd, 1891. He was the youngest son of Prince Henry of Battenburg (born 1858, died 1896), who in 1885 married Princess Beatrice, youngest daughter of Queen Victoria. Prince Maurice was a brother of the present Queen of Spain. In regard to his relationship to Prince Louis of Battenberg, the First Sea Lord, it may be pointed out that the deceased Prince was the youngest son of the .youngest daughtei of the late Queen Victoria, whereas Prince Louis of Battenberg married the eldest daughter of Princess Alice, eldest daughter of Queen \ ictoria.
