GIRL’S FATAL BURN. [Per Press Association.] Ashburton, October 27. Evelyn Irvine, a girl who was badly burnt as the result of an accident at Rakaia last week, died in the hos-< pitai this morning.
CRUSHED TO DEATH. Hokitika, October-27. Frank Allen, single, 21, who was crushed between a dray «nd tho stump of a tree at Wataha on September 2Sth, died in the Ross hospital yesterday.
