Austro-German troops were forced to accept serious battle south of Oilica, where there was fighting on Friday on a front extending over forty versts. Russians carried out bayonet charges in the forests of Radom, and took many prisoners and machine guns. There was desperate fighting on the San, south of Przemysl, which favored the Russians. Five Austrian companies were taken prisoners at the Pytchentza heights, south of Waroslav. The attacks south of Przemysl were repulsed, 500 of the enemy being routed. At Stryi 1000 were taken prisoners. SPIRITUOUS LIQUORS BANNED. (Received 9.35 a.m.) Petrograd, October 25. The Governor-General of Galicia, by order of the Grand Duke Nicholas, announces that anyone offering spirituous liquors to the troops will be court-martialled. WITH THE AIRCRAFT.
