FULMINATIONS AGAINST A GER-
MAN CLUB. (Received 10.10 a.m.) Melbourne, October 21. The Rev. Lynch, preaching at the Williamstown Anglican Church, stated that he could produce reliable witnesses to prove that ' the receipt cf the news of the. fall of Antwerp was followed by a whole night of orgy at a German club. At a meeting of the council one councillor urged closer suppression of the German .club, which was surrounded by a high wall. Several councillors declared that many Britishers were members of the club and that no danger was to bo expected from it. WAR’S EFFECT UPON FINANCE. I ... ;.r Sydney, October 21.
