The child declined whereupon the man seized her, and be gan to drag her towards the domain. The girl fought and kicked, and getting her mouth free, screamed loudly.'There upon two or three men came to tin rescue. The man dropped the child and ran. He was vigorously pursued, bul he managed to escape through a back yard and vacant sections. The girl was considerably cut and bruised about the face, and is suffering from shock. The: police are making inquiries.
