SHOOTING.
■ CARDIFF MEN SHOOT. Fourteen members of the Stratford Defence Rifle Club from Cardiff attended at the rifle range and fired seven shots ,one sighter) at the 200yds range. The wind was very high, and from ten to twelve degrees of wind from the left had to bo allowed, the velocity being variable. Following were the highest scores: — 200yds. Rifleman Haworth ... 31 Rifleman P. Marchant ... 26 Rifleman Belcher ... ... 23 Rifleman H. Marchant ... 21 Rifleman Rogers ... ... 19 i Rifleman W. Mander ... 19 Rifleman Richardson ... 19 The town section parades at the Defence Office this evening for the usual drill. Word has been received that no ammunition is available for issue to rifle clubs, and it is possible that the Stratford Club will suspend shooting operations.
