Father Thomas Kehoe, priest, of Tuakau, died on Saturday morning, aged 74. The Rev. Hammond is a passenger to Sydney by the Mamma, and will participate in the New Zealand prohibition campaign, states a cablegram to-day.. Mr A. Morton has the unique distinction of being the first and only chairman of the Inglewood Bacon Co. He took the position when the company was formed sixteen years ago, iand#on Saturday was re-elected. The Rev. Clarence Eaton, of Richmond, Nelson, has been unanimously •invited by the Methodist, Central Mission at Dunedin to succeed the Rev. Mr Slade as says a Press Association 'telegram. As Mr Eaton is invited to another circuit in Wellington, he cannot accept, but he is willing to go to Dunedin if the conference appoints him.
