POPULAR PASSION AROUSED AGAINST AUSTRIA. i _____ (Received 9.45 a.m.) Romo, October 6. 1 Sixty thousand Italians presented a manifesto to the Government, begging for help against the Austrians, and declaring that the number of arrests on suspicion is assuming unbearable proportions, and that the distressing stories of fugitives are raising the popular passion.
