[Feb Press Assopia^ton.] Carterton, October t. A inan named E. Alexander Kao, an engineer, cut his wife’s throat and committed suicide by cutting his own throat last night. The wife’s condition is very serious. There is a family of young children. The deceased was a prohibited person, and had been snlfering from the effects of liquor.
