ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
[Pee Press Association.] Wellington, October 2. This morning a serious accident happened to a lad named Leslie Wildis. As he was riding a bicycle along Whitmore street, he failed to notice the approach of a dray, one of the shafts of which came in contact with kis head. He was thrown to the ground, and when picked up was found to be unconscious. He was removed to the hospital, where examination showed that he was suffering from fracture of the base of the skull.
