PALMERSTON NORTH SHOW. This Show is so well known ant! popular that little need he said about it, but it is understood radical alterations have been made in the programme of ring events. Since the executive first decided to hold a three days Show there has been little to interest ordinary visitor on the fust day,/and this is to be remedied by the provision, of a full list of ring events on thaVday. The live stock divisions are again well provided for. We may mention that the N.Z. Ayrshire Cattle'Breeders’ Association championship gold medals are to be competed for. The N.I.N.Z. Sheepbreeders’ Association champion gold medals for Border Leicester and Shropshire rams are listed, as are • two of the handsome silver medals of the Shire Horse Society of Great Britain for Shire stallion and mare. One of our industries which is receiving practical support is the wool-classing trade. The Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association has offered prizes at the forthcoming Show for more advanced competitors, and also for Technical School students. The secretary is Mr W. T. Penny, Box 85, Palmerston Korfch. who will he pleased to send schedules and all information.
