YOUNG GERMAN IN CAOL. [PuFun AmociationJ Wellington, September 29. When the young German, Hugo Sewald, was charged on remand with establishing a wireless plant without permission, the police asked for a further remand, with the object of arranging that Sewald be placed on Somes Island as a prisoner of war. The Chief Detective stated that ho wished it known that any unathorised person found in possession of a wireless apparatus' would be immediately arrested as a prisoner of war. Sewald was further charged with obtaining a wireless plant under false pretences. He was remanded, baU being refused.
