f_Pl!B PfiESI AtaOOIATION.I " AVhangarei, September 21. A young lady, Winnie Birch, a visitor from England, was admitted to the hospital to-day with both her ..legs broken. On Sunday she left a friend's place at Whaligarei Heads to climb Aubiey's Mountain. As she did. not return, a search party set out that night, and found the missing lady badly injured. .Miss Birch had fallen over a cliff. Despite lief severe injuries, she had bandaged 'tone leg with her handkerchief and crawled over a mile on hands and knees before the search party rescued her.
