A quiet wedding took place at Mrs Crockett's residence, Lemon Street, New Plymouth, on Monday, when Mr W. J. Crockett, a member of the Expeditionary Force about to 'leave New Zealand, was married to Miss Maude Walker, fifth daughter of Mr and Mrs A. Walker, Salisbury Road, Midhirst. The Rev. S. S. Osborne was the officiating minister, Miss Florence Crockett was bridesmaid, and Mr G. Bell was best man.
