Mr D. L. Hatton, postmaster at Whangamomona, has received notic* of transfer to Ormondvillr, Hawke's Bay. He will be greatly missed in a large number of ways, and no doubt he, on his part, will be sorry to leave the hearty people of the district. He .is of the sort that can make a large number of friends in the course of two years, for which term Mr Hatton has been at Whangamomona.
