Mr H. H. Hayhurst, son of the late Colonel Hayhurst (previously selected), has now been selected .as the reform candidate for the Temuka seat.
Tile late Sir J. Henniker Heaton was lurried at Geneva (states a London cablegram). The Agent-General and many friends attended a memorial service at St. Margaret's, London. The King telegraphed an expression of his regret and sympathy.
