POLISH MIXERS' REVENGE UPON

MILITARY TRAIN DESTROYED
(Received 10.50 a.m.) Petrograd, September 11. Polish miners «at Bendin, who were
compelled by the Germans to load coal • trucks, concealed dynamite in each truck, with appalling result, the military train being completely destroyed. The ammunitioh factory was blown up.
GERMAN ARMORED TRAIN WRECKED.
COSSACKS MAKE CAPTURES
(Received 10.0 a.m.) Petr.ograd, September 11. Cossacks wrecked an armoured train near Chenstokoff. They practically annihilated the Germans and captured several quickfirers.

(Received 11.15 a.m.) Copenhagen, September 11
Berlin advices state that the left flank of the Russian Army in East Prussia was defeated, the Russians retreating, pursued by the Germans.
