THE PATHFINDER STINK BY A SUBMARINE.
London, September 11
The Daily Telegraph states that a relative of one of the Pathfinder's crew officially informed the paper that the Pathfinder was torpedoed by a German submarine. The Press Bureau prohibited publication on Tuesday, but has now removed the embargo.
GERMAN MOVEMENTS IN THE
BALTIC
(Received 8.5 a.m.) Stockholm, September 11. Strong German sqtiadrons were seen on Monday, near the Islands of Gotska and Sando, steaming north-west-wards. Nine battleships were seen approaching the Gulf of Finland on the same day.
