H.M.S. NEW ZEALAND IN THE HELIGOLAND FIGHT.
London, September 9. A seaman aboard H.M.S. New Zealand writes:—"Tho torpedoers in the Heligoland fighfcbad a hot, time. We suddenly appeared on -the scene, out of the mist, and before the enemy knew what was happening we were playing upon thorn. In about 14 minutes we sent some good ships and some unfortunate • men to tho bottom." GERMAN NAVY KEEN ON TRAWLERS. London, September 9.
The Germans sank the trawler Capricornus. The crew wore taken to Wilhelmshaven. Sixteen Grimsby trawlers have now been mined or sunk. REMOVAL OF MINES tN THE ADRIATIC. (Received 11.45 a.m.) London, September 9 (morning). British and French torpedoers are removing innumerable Austrian mines in the Adriatic.
