The junior girls lioticcy team from the Stratford High School journeyed to Whangamomona on Friday evening last to play a return match with the local junior girls. They went in charge of Misses Tooman and Gordon, and on arrival they were billeted among the residents. The match took place at 10. SO a.m. on Saturday, an 1 was attended by most of the residents of the township, the result being * win for the Stratford girls by four points. The Stratford contingent left on their return by the mid-day train. Tney report that they were treated with the greatest hospitality and kindness, and state that this visit was the oleasantest they have had to Whangamomona.
