THE U.S.A. AND PANAMA.

The United States has signed a treaty with Panama, whereby the United States gains control of the wate-s in Colon and Ans m harbois, and cedes a tract of laud emCing the capital to secure connection with the remainder of the country. The treaty takes as its basis the agreement of June, 1901.
