The Times, in a loader, says; “The Germans purpose making Belgium an appendage of their,Empire, seizing the French Channel ports, and then, while letting loose their waiting navy at our fleet, they will attempt a raid upon England. The plan looks very pretty on paper, *hut—the Austrians have sustained an immense defeat, and the Russians are coming on.”
