An allegedly libellous pamphlet which is entitled “Deloyalty” makes certain statements regarding Mr Fisher’s attitude.
Melbourne September 4.
Rev. Yarrington, Liberal candidate for the Cook Federal constituency, has issued a writ against Mr Catts, Labor candidate, claiming £3OOO damages, in respect of an alleged libel contained in a pamphlet entitled “Abuse of Religion.”,
Sydney, September 4
A fire destroyed Christey’s horse and carriage bazaar in Harris street, and damaged adjacent premises. Sixty vehicles were destroyed, and three horses were incinerated. The .damage is estimated at £SOOO.
