WAR-TAX ON LUXURIES IN THE UNITED STATES.
Times and Sydney Sun Services. (Received 8-0 a.m.) New York, September 1. With a view to offsetting the loss in customs receipts, the Government it is expected, will levy a war-tax of twenty million upon luxuries.
