The Slav regiments in the. Austrian service are disaffected. A whole Austrian regiment with its hand and tho colors went over to the Russians.

Times and Sydney Sun Sbeyxoib. (Received 8.0 a.in.) London, September 1. Austrians on Friday attempted to seize Mt. Lovtchen, warships assisting. There was a violent engagement and the Austrians were repulsed.

The Austrians, supported by the Cattaro batteries and the fleet, attacked Mount Lovtchen and Budua on Monday.
They seriously damaged the Montenegrin positions, but the AngloFrench fleet made a timely appearance, silenced the batteries, and forced the fleet to hastily retreat.
The Montenegrins, under Prince Peter, counter-attacked and repulsed tho Austrians, killing 450 and capturing many prisoners.
REPORTED LOSS IN GALICIA 20,000.

The Daily News Rome correspondent reports that the Austrians lost twanty thousand in Galicia.
