The cows were in good condition, but showed considerable age, The attendance, numbered about 120, and competition was keen for all lines. On Tuesday, 25th inst., we held our usual fortnightly stock sale in our i Stratford yards, when the following prves were real Led:—Store cows in lines £2 12s Gl to £1 10s, forward cows £5 5s to £1 17s, fat cows £7 ss. Shorthorn yearling heifers 62s to 40s, •Jersey cross yearling heifers £2 11s, store wethers 19s. In the dairy yards we sold on account of Edward Pen/ nett, Esq., jrart of his dairy herd, which made from £5 10s to £l3, averaging £8 10; for the lino, 3 year heifers close to profit £5 15s to £7 10s.
