LOCAL AND GENERAL.
At the Court this morning James Fearou, who did not appear, was fined the amount of his hail (£1), on a charge of drunkenness. Mr J. Masters, J.P., was on the "bench.
Messrs C. 1). Sole and J. Masters, J.P.’s, presided over a sitting of the Count tin's morning, when defendant’s evidence was taken in the case Booth, Macdonald and Co, v. Mrs M. M. Shuto, Lowgarth, which was a dispute over the terms of the purchase of a plough. Mr Macalister appeared for defendant.
Nurse Cully, who was announced to he in attendance at Mr Edwards’ on Tuesday, will not now he in Stratford until Tuesday week, Bth September. Those desirous of seeing her in connection with the Society for the Health of Women and Children are asked to note the altered date of her attendance.
