SERIOUS OUTBREAK AT OTAKI.
| [Peb Tiuraa XnaooiATioN.l Wellington, August 27. i Another block of buildings, the fourth within a short period, was destroyed by fire at Otaki to-day, when shops occupied by Alex. MoCleland, 'Fred Bills, Yen Guy, and Roxburgh 'Bros., and two unoccupied premises belonging to R. Hannah and Co., of Welilington, were burned down. A billiard | saloon was also destroyed. Yen Guy I lost everything, but the rest saved (most of their things. The Family i Hotel and Bright’s new theatre were j scorched. ' Waterson’s tobacconist shop ■ was saved with difficulty, as there is no water supply.
