The Hon. W. H. Herries, who has been in indifferent health for some days past, has been removed to a private hospital lor treatment.
The Right Rev. O. T. L. Crossley, who last year resigned the bishopric of Auckland owing to ill-health, has been appointed by the Bishop of Llandaff to the rectory of St. Andrew Major, witli Dinas Powis, near Cardiff: Tiie rectory is of the gross value of £5lB per annum, net £420, with house.
