ABANDONS DEFINITE WAR AGAINST SERVIA.
(Received 9.0 a.m.) London, August 24 (morning)
The Austrian official telegraph agency states that the army is required to resist Russia, and therefore Austria will abandon the offensive against Servia. Servian operations hereafter will be in the future of a punitive expedition and not definite war.
