MATTHEWS, CAMLIN REPORT.
Messrs Matthews, Gamlin and'.Co. report a fair yarding in-their Inglewood yards last ’Wednesday, prices for all ’classes of stock showing a slight decline on -last week’s prices.-; We quote: Springing heifers (good) €5 15s to £B, others £2 12s to £5 10s, dairy cows £4 15s to £B, empty heifers 39s to £2 Ms, store cows £2 to £4 15s, yearling steers £1 9s to £2 17s Od, f.m. ewes in lamb 20s Gd, hoggets 12s 7d. A very successful;clearing sale was hold by Mr Newton King at Punihoi on Friday, when Messrs Bell Brothers’ stock and farm implements were submitted at .’the ;hammer.
