At the annual service for the repo>6 of the souls Of the Frenhcmen who fell in the Crimea, the Freacii Ambassador said:— 1 'The present war is a war of revanche. Now is at hand the do-[iV«ry-;-of my-compatriots, who have hden Bowed* for nearly half a century under a foreign yoke." Tho speech was greeted with cheers for the Allies and Italy.
