JAPAN'S ULTIMATUM REJECTED BY GERMANY.
London, August 20. Germany has rejected Japan's ultimatum.
A SURPRISE TO BERLIN.
London, August 19
Eight Japanese students were expelled from Germany and have arrived in England. They report having received much ill-treatment. They state that previous to Japan's ultimatum the idea was prevalent in Germany that Japan would attack Russia.
