The committee of the Wanganui Jockey Club to-night reconsidered its decision to abandon the spring meeting, and decided to hold the meeting and to devote the whole of the profits to the War Fund. Nominations were fixed to close on August 31. The club’s previous decision was not influenced by financial considerations:, lint simply by the fact that jollifications seemed out of place in time of war.
