Russians destroyed a German aeroplane at Samxns, on the Finnish coast. Throe aviators were killed.

The Czar took part in a great procession at the Cathedral of the Assumption at the Kremlin at 'Moscow, where a solemn act of worship was held, having historical significance in the Russian army’s work.
