THE BAND AND THE MAYOR.
[To The Editor Stratford Post.] yi,. } —To the statement made by the Mayor, appearing in Saturday's issue of your paper, that he invited the Band to aid in giving our boys a send-off on Wednesday morning last, I wish to givo an emphatic denial. I would like to inform the Mayor that the Band, at least, has a special channel for such invitations to passnamely, through its secretary—and, so far, no such invitation has reached me,—l am, etc.,
