SIX TO BE RELEASED, IPBE PhEBB ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, August tn the House of Representatives tonight, the Hon. A. L. Herdman, 31 inister of Justice, announced that aftei consultation with the Chief Justice, the Government had- decided to remit the sentences of six out of ten prisoners now in gaol in connection with the recent strike. The names of those who would be released were: W. H. Lawton, C. P. - Beaumont, Thomas Auckland, H. Holland, Karl'Johnston, and Max Wolfe. There were four others whose sentences ib was not proposed to remit owing to previous convictions.
