WEBSTER, DOBSON AND CO.’S REPORT. At Stratford on Tuesday there was only a small muster in the stock yards, competition being inclined on the quiet side. Prices ruled as under :—Store cows £3 2s to £3 8s 6d. yearling heifers 80s to 435, yearling steers 4os to 51s. w In the dairy yards we had a good muster, everything selling under keen competition. Mr Burton’s dairy herd made good values. Prices as follows:—For Mr Burton’s cows, close to profit £9 to £ll 10s, Sent., culvers £7 to £9, late culvers £5 15s to £6 15s, empty cows £ I 2s. On account aindry vendors, early culvers £8 5s to £9 10s, later do. £5 10s to £7 10s. in calf Jersey heifers (backward) £5 1 Is. Private sales as under:—Fat ewes 22a, store cows fresh condition £5 2s 6d. £4 10s, £4 *3s. yearling steers 50s, Jos, £2 1 1 s fid, £2 I/ s, fiOs. £3 fix fid for line of 300 odd and £3 12s fid for lino of 180 odd, store cows £3 |(b, 4Ox, 05s, 70s ; fat cows £B, £0 12s fid, £7 12s fid; ewes in lamb, 225, 235, 20s, 255, 24s fid. 23s fid; springing heifers £7 7s. £7, £6 14s; dairy herds £l2. £l4, £9 10s: yearling heifers, £2 !7s. £2 2s, 455, 37s fid; fat wethers, 255; 2-year steers, £4 7s fid; hoggets, Ids, 15s Id, 16s.
