Stratford's Part.
Included in Stratford's first contingent for,t;he front which left yesterday morning were Messrs N. Higginson and.G, of the railway corps. Mr P. Beere, Inspector of Stock, has been empowered to receive iany gifts of forage which farmers in the district may feci disposed to make. It is suggested that farmers may have a little hay or other forage which they can spare, and it is certain that such gifts, however small, will l)e of great service at the present juncture, when emergency provisions has to ho made for foddering large numbers of horses.
