To Prevent Distress
CANADA'S GREAT OFFER OF FLOUR. , (Received 9.55 a.m.) ▼ Ottawa, August 8. The Government has offered a million bags of flour to Britain with the object of presenting’ distress and obviating an increase in prices. The Home Government, in, acknowledging the gift, describes it as the most welcome that could bo-offered, and most patriotic and generous.
