The Government- Meteorologiit (Be? D. 0. Bates) telegraphed thin afternoon as follows : The indications are for variable and moderate breezes, but moderate southerly winds prevailing backing by .south to west then freshening. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather. The night will probably be verycold with frosts inland. Barometer little movement.
